Day 5
San Francisco is cold. Chilly might be more accurate, but so far it hasn’t cracked 70 degrees and the ocean breeze adds to the nip. It feels so nice, though, after enduring a pretty hot New Mexico summer. We’re pretty tired, just getting back from AT&T Park and a rowdy left field crowd, the Giants losing to the Padres 4-3. We took the T to the game, Lisa and I are really enjoying the Muni.

Earlier today we visited the California Academy of Sciences and wow was it amazing.

Off the beaten path, we checked out the columbarium on Loraine St. It has been by far one of the best parts of the trip, visiting the remains of some 6,000 people. Quite beautiful and touching at the same time, a must see for anyone visiting.
Beware the cliffs near Sutro Bath ruins, however. My middle finger is still recovering form a mishap climbing down to the beach, and I’m hoping it’s just severly sprained.
