That’s how much rain Albuquerque has had since January. It’s been a miserable summer. It’s been very hot, upper 90s for about 2 months now. Windy, windy, windy. Fires everywhere. Here’s a shot of the Sandia Mountains from our backyard:

Well, tonight it finally rained, and not just a 5 minute New Mexico rain, but a good, soaking hour-long monsoon downpour:
Let’s hope we get more of this.
Good riddance, summer. Bring on the fall!
